Anyways.... hoping the line lock will let me get a decent burnout now. That and a pretty smoke show. :) What are some creative ways you've installed the line lock button? I don't want it to be incredibly obvious.
You may not want it obvious but you sure need it handy......... like on the shifter .......... but you said not obvious. You could always lie and tell people it's something else :seeya
I just don't want to it super obvious the car has evil intentions. The gauge stands out enough as it is. The more "plain jane '87 anemic L98" looking it is, the better.
I know what you mean there........ can you do a burn out while reaching the lower part of the dash?.......... seems to me it wouldn't be too easy .... hey how about on the cruise lever?......... hold in the "set" button   or do you use your cruise? :seeya
Its a drag racing aide. Basically, you push the brakes down and hold the button. When you release the brakes, the line lock keeps the fronts locked so you can do a burnout easier.
Have my line lock button installed in place of the cigarette lighter. Have to keep 12 volt alligator clips though to connect to the battery for the air pump while at the track or if my cell phone battery ever goes dead. :)
I was just wondering, is it really worth it to get line lock? Like when i'm going to race I like to heat up the tires and to do that i usually do a brake stand. I've heard people say that doing that is EXTREMLY bad for your car, i'm not sure if it's worth it to invest my money into a line lock or not?
