SKINNEY TYRE WEIGHT RATINGS
I have got some tyres for my 3.5 x15 front wheels.
I looked at the weight rating and it is 995 lbs at 36 psi.
Do you think they are safe to use on my 90 vette, just for track duty ?
i will be running mid 12's @ 110 mph i hope !

They are 145x 15 michelin xzx 's from my old prostreet DUSTER
that only weighed about 2600 lbs, my vette weights about 3400 lbs i guess so i wondered what every one else ran on the front skinnys ( mine are autodrag centerlines )

My skinnies are the 165-15 Signet radial with a 36PSI at 1250 LBS rating.
Increase the pressure to 40 PSI at the track. At 36PSI these tires look very underflated. My car weighs 3125 at the track.
