trying to get my cruise control adjusted correctly. It works, but one drop in mph causes it to come on, but it comes on too harsh. On and Off. Very uncomfortable
whats the the best way to adjust it. Should the cable be loose or tight where it connects to throttle body. Maybe something else wrong?
all the trouble shooting areas only talk about if it's not working at all
i thinking maybe it's not holding vacuum which would cause it not to hold speed steady, and would cause it to get on and off so rapidly

Melting Slicks
The adjustment is very basic, it's just take the slack out and leave it with just a little bit of droop in the chain .
you mentioned may not be holding Vaccumm the large hose should be fully blocked unless the brake pedal is pressed, the smaller one should have a good vacuum. Give the hoses a good look at I have seen the hoses get leaky from rubbing on the battery or rotted from battery acid
