I was going to ask if anyone out there has tried the EM longtubes. I'm looking for the same answers as the starter of this post is looking for

I wouldn't rely on that. SOTP dyno feels more power depending on what you spend. To maximize your gains, I would think intakes and dyno tuning will help. Also it tells what you are making without feeling.

At the time they were 650, It added 50 for the Y pipe, so 700.

Then they went up to 750 over time.

The hedmans were 100, so you can see a huge difference. The hedmans are now 200. No change to the primaries, so you still have to fight to install them.

Probably cost more if you want ceramic coating. For longevity, I would on any header set. As to having to fight it in, things are cheap for a reason. We'll thought out items don't have to be cheap and usually, they are NOT.

I have EM"s and was surprised no one mentioned them. They are around 8 years old and in great shape. great fitment and easy to install.

Can't see the picture on the site. Do they have the bosses to hook up all the brackets? If so, you pay $771 for ceramic coated 1 3/4 and which pipe to connect to the cats? The Hooker ones or the SS ones? I probably will need new ones in a couple years since my TPIS ones are getting scratched and the coating is coming off where it is closest to the ground.
