I have an 89 c4 which I purchased a month ago. it was shaking from 30 mph and up so I had the front balanced but was told that the front passenger wheel was little bent. I had the rear wheels put on the front and the front on the rear. It still shakes a lot. what could be the problem?

Get bent wheel replaced. I would also check for suspension and driveline parts. A defective/ damaged tire is also possible. I would have all 4 tires road force balanced when wheel is replaced.

My 85 used to shake at around 50, it turned out to be the ball joints, replaced them and suspension bushings. Drives great now.
