Default Hub removal tool

I have done the searches, seen the threads where guys built their own tool but the pictures are no longer hosted. I know I need a longer than stock bolt but besides that this piece is the only thing holding me back.

Does anyone have pictures or a guide to a build your own tool with pictures.

It would be appreciated, thanks!

get a 7/16th fine thread cap screw, long enough to screw all the way into the crank snout with the cap screw head sticking out beyond the end of the hub

set up a normal three jaw harmonic balance puller with the threaded arbor pushing against the cap screw head, tighten

the hub will pull forward until it contacts the bottom of the cap screw head

replace the 7/16th bolt cap screw with a longer one, reset the three jaw puller and repeat

do this two or three times and the hub will come off

Are you doing it with the half-shaft in or out? If you pull the half-shaft out, you have total access to check the u-joints and Teflon washer, plus easy access to the torx bolts that attach the hub to the knuckle.
just something to think about.

Sorry -- thought was looking for something for the wheel hubs, couldn't figure out why the bolt. My mistake.
