I was walking towards the car from a distance, and noticed the center spoiler was in front of the side section on the passengers side and behind on the drivers.
I had the car on stands this week end so I took the bolt out and fixed it. But The spoiler is looking kind of sad.
So I figure it could be a good time to replace. But I found several post about ill fitting replacements, So I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a proper fitting replacement. From what I found only the right hand piece is still available from GM.
Eckler's seems to have a good price if it's a decent kit.
I've bought a couple reproductions sets from fleabay vendors, and believe it or not, perfect fit. they were the Z51 versions which are about 1 inch higher than the standard air dam (or lower, depending on how you look at things). where the center sections overlaps with the end sections, I drilled a 1/4" hole thru the two pieces and used a black push rivet. tends to keep the three pieces in perfect alignment.
A couple years ago I went with the Corvette Central ones. I think they were $60 but I had a discount code so a little less.
The replaced the orginals looked like them except they were new instead of the beat up/missing ones on my car. (I put them on my '95 and put the old '95 ones the '96. The '96 ones when I bought the car were damaged and the center section missing.)
