closed --open loop 86
It used to run to 111 degrees and at that point every thing would change --RPM --ect . I assumed it was going from closed loop to open loop. Recently its not making that change. It doesnt start the same but still runs very strong. Something happened but I dont know what. All I did recently was change the timing to + 5 degrees. Anyone have any ideas as to what might have happened.

timing has a big effect on idle speed.
the advance at start up is different from when its warmed up.
at start up the ECM is using a preset spark table.
its probably just a side effect of changing the base timing, set it back to stock and see.
