Default Fuel solenoid keeps blowing

Fuel solenoid keeps blowing. The car has been sitting for about five years bought it from original owner yesterday car keeps blowing fuel solenoid. I believe it would be the fuel filter as your pressure is fine. Any ideas? I don't to search and the only thing I keep coming up with is where is the fuel solenoid.

First question, what is a fuel solenoid? Can you explain what is happening? Fuse?

Default Relay sorry I mean relay. The fuse is fine.

The fuse has not gone out once it's the relay that keeps blowing.

Don't understand what you mean by blowing a relay.


Fuses blow. relays either energize or don't energize.


Also, what year is the car?

It's a 92. They keep sticking closed. So energized. What do you take it apart after it's failed the magnet is staying closed. I don't know what would make the car keep making them fail. It's happened 3 times in 2 days. Once it failed i replaces car starts right up before replacement The car will cranking cranking crank you have spark but it won't fire unless you put gas down intake itself . But like I said the second you replace the relay The car fires right up. Then once it fails you could take the really a part and it's stuck closed.

If the relay is stuck closed, your fuel pump would continue to run, and the car would start right up! If the relay is stuck closed, you would be complaining about a dead battery.

I don't think we know what the problem is!

Can you show us a picture of the relay that's causing your problem?

Ok I am sorry. Long story short I had 2 that will not engage on that had stuck engaged. My guess is all three where bad for there own issues. I have a new one in car now. The others I had from other cars. They where good when I took them out but....... So I'm a moron that should have just got a new one from the start!!! If it happens again I'll let you know.
