Signal Light Stem And Wiper Problems...:(
I have a problem with the switch on the inside of the steering column, the stem will not activate the signal lights (just flops from top to bottom), I am sure it is broken. Then, my wipers have a life all their own now...I can turn them on, sometimes they come on, sometimes they may come on in 2 or 3 minutes from the time I turn them on.I can sometimes turn the off, and they will stop in a few minutes, then in a few minutes, they will make another swipe...Can you tell me how much trouble it is to change the switch in the column, and if the same switch operated both the wipers and the signal indicators?It is on a 1991 convertible, and it does have the drivers side airbag. I am either going to have to fix it...or call for a priest to exorcize the wipers....Thanks for the info in advance!!! :seeya
