Cruise control vacuum hose replacement

Default Cruise control vacuum hose replacement
1989 with auto. Stock
I put vacuum tester on the large vacuum line running from servo to brake pedal dump switch. It will not hold vacuum. I just replaced switch, but it appears vacuum line is leaking. Anyone replace it and how hard is it. Looking for tricks to make it easier

It is a Generic Hose unless you feel it totally necessary you could just pick up a section of hose a use a splice where needed, if I remember correctly it is not Impossible just a bit of a Knuckle Cutter.

Not sure where leak is. I think the best way might be to connect new hose to old hose under hood and pull it thru with help of some type of lub

That's pretty much what is Involved but some times the firewall is a bit tight You could test the waters by giving a tug and see how well it slides.

I have found that the Cruise hose get's rotted just along side the battery or get's cut on the Aluminum Bracing under the dash
