(6-5-17) Update: I went to start the car this evening and it would not start. I am not sure if this is a related issue or something else.
1994 Corvette 83,000 miles
New weatherstrip installed a few weeks ago
In the videos there is a whistle sound between 1500-2000 rpm which goes away after letting off the gas pedal
The noise happens with the windows open or closed and it sounds like the noise is coming from the driver side under the hood.
There is only a whistle while the car is actually being driven, not while sitting still and hitting the throttle.
I did find a couple of vacuum lines that we worn so I replaced them yesterday...that didn't get rid of the sound.
I was able to get a better video on the way home tonight where I could maintain my speed for a little bit. You can really hear the Whistling noise in this video. It doesn't sound like a belt usually sounds when it squeals but I will check the belt tomorrow
The third video that I posted is most noticable. There is definitely a whistle that is not the normal transmission whine. You may need to play it on a computer or use headphones to hear it...but it sounds like a high pitched whistle.
So...I am not sure why this would even be related...but my Corvette died the other day and the Ignition Coil was bad. After replacing the coil...the whistling noise has stopped. No idea why that would be related or if it is just a coincidence that the whistling stopped after replacing the coil?

My alternator (rebuilt pos) howls when i first start it. Goes away after awhile. Check for a c voltage at the alternator (yep A C). Sometimes a diode out or partially shorted will whine or whistle
