My instrument panel is going dim. Part S7207 is the wrong dimmer switch for C4 1995 instrument panel. Anyone know the correct part # and where I can get it?
I saw that your switch according to ZIP Products should be a part Number: E-1183 and it works on 89-96 Corvettes. In stock for $49.99 and to be sure they have a nice picture of it to match it up with yours. If that seems like it is too much then ROCKAUTO has your dimmer switch for $28.79!
I know that when my dimmer slowly stopped working it was the light sensor on the Digital Dashboard failing. I replaced the sensor and all works normally again. Be sure to clean all connections when dealing with light switches.
Good Luck!

Dimmer Switch? In my book Dimmer switch has to do with Headlights High Beam/Low beam.
Headlight switch on the Dash has to do with the Back light Of Cluster, Because the dimmer is connected to it. (and that might be the confusion)

I take it your dash is not bright, Have you checked your Photo optic Sensor in the corner of the DIC. Shine a light in to it the dash should Brighten Cover it the dash should Dim.
