While driving today I had a problem which I have experienced intermitantly and was able to put my scanner on it. It says the error is a Fuel pump relay failure is this repairable or does the fuel pump need replacement? It does not happen all of the time so I'm not sure where to go with it, I've let it go to this point but would like to rectify it. I also have a message that "system voltage is too high" What does that mean and what can I do about it. The last message says "Calibration Pack missing"? What does this mean and were do I go with it?
It doesn't run badly but I believe could run a little better. I'm not a great mechanic but have done a lot of work I never thought I'd be able to during the last 2 years. I appreciate the information you've been giving me and hope to learn more! Thanks for what you can tell me.
Re: Error code Questions What does it all mean!? (Gregory VanLare)
don't know what the calibration pack thingy is about....
the fuel pump relay is located on the firewall above the drivers side valvecover (there are 2 relays there but I can't remember which one it is).
however, I'm wondering if all these codes are being caused by the charging system, like a alternator going bad and overcharging the system?
hopefully one of the pro's in here can shed more light on the subject.

I would disconnect the battery for a least a minute to clear all the codes. Then, see if any of the codes return. The codes in the ECM may have been there a long time.
