I don't know if it would have anything to do with it or not, but it does appear that the rear of the car is a lot higher than normal. I wouldn't think it would matter but maybe the suspension being at a different angle has something to do with it. Did it do it with the old tires and wheels? Did it set level or normal with the old tires and wheels?
the suspension is stock, i haven't lifted or lowered it. as far as the tires go, i think that the tires 275/40r18 are about the same hieght as the original 255/50r16
Hmm, it just looks a lot higher in the rear for some reason. Anyway, I don't no if you noticed, but I added to my earlier post, the only thing I can think of is shocks and or monospring. Good luck
it might just be an optical illusion or something, the car sits at the stock height, id like to lower it a bit, but it already scrapes the roads around here so i'll leave it for now. i'll go to the local speed shop tomorrow and see whats available. thanks for you help
Tire pressure...I had to mess with this on my Buick Grand National 500+HP...def mess with it...if your at the track hit the low #s..

Had that happen once. My suspension is all rebuilt with poly bushings and new springs With a fresh alignment to my specs What caused the wheel hope was to low tire press I had 12# in my road race tires I bumped it up to 24# the wheel hop went away This worked for me
Good Luck
Mike
well the tires are run flats and my suspension is probably tired, so i'll nurse it until the snow flies and then address these things this winter. thanks all
