Fuel filter adequate
I have been looking for figures on what the stock fuel filter on my '85 will flow, more so, how much horsepower is too much for it?

Sorry, I don't know the limits on the fuel filter but it should at least be equal to whatever your fuel pump can push through it.

Thanks to all, I can cross the filter off my list of possible culprits. I may have found my problem today so I will wait and see, if not then I will describe the issue.
