You say you have bled the system and I don't doubt you did so let's move on from there. next are you loosing fluid, when the peddle is Not firm does the car still stop well.

Because there is a Slight chance your new master is defective and Stroking thru on occasions.

Not losing fluid and car doesn't stop well when this happens

Good Point if didn't Bench bleed and ex-spelled the last bit at the master connection odd's are you have pushed a lot of air into the system. If you did all that and you say the brakes are poor when it happens and the brakes are good and then their bad.

YOU HAVE A BAD MASTER

Bench bleeding is a huge step in getting the air out of the system.... Have you had help bleeding the system? Start with the farthest bleeder from the M/C and work toward the closest. If youre employing a helper, have them pump the pedal very slowly, 2-3 times, then crack the bleeder... while the helper holds the pedal down, tighten and repeat a few times per bleeder.... do all of them this way always keeping the M/C full.... then go around to each and do it again... and again.... until the pedal is firm and the air is all out.

. If you have gotten all the air out and the brakes are good then the pedal drops and Dosn't want to stop master is bad
