so in the midst of removing a leaking radiator on my 87 automatic I busted the bottom transmission line right at the fitting. I've thought about a quick fix with a cooler kit fitting and a flex hose but would rather just replace the line, I don't think it will cost much more. I've found kits that apparently fit from inline tube on eBay, assuming they do how hard are these lines to replace? Can you snake them from transmission to radiator just having the car jacked up?

Hi
You can easily bypass the radiator and put a transmission cooler in front of the a/c condenser, just run hoses from the existing lines to the air cooled trans cooler.
Does the transmission cooling system run at a low pressure?. Also, where are the connection points on the transmission housing, and can they be accessed with the car jacked up?. I am talking about a 1988 C4. I have thought about cutting out the leaking section and replacing it with braided hose and jubilee clips. Would that work?.
