A you can see in the photograph, the end of the defroster has become detached from the window.
Secondly, the wire has become detatched from the end of the defroster that detached fro mthe window.
So, two fixes needed here.
The wire, I'm sure is just a simple solder job, but it's the end of the defroster itself that needs to be reattached to the glass that I'm not sure about how to go about.
Natty you can buy thermally conductive epoxy. that is how i would put the braided steel wire back on the window. before i did that, i'd solder the brided wire to the terminal, in a position that 'works' for its final position. best to avoid the soldering after its re-attached to the window.

Thanks! I'll look to see where I can find that epoxy locally. I didn't know they made conductive epoxy.
And, yeah, I'll definitely do the wire first. Was thinking about just replacing that wire completely with new.
