Default how to identify LT4 heads

a shop in town is selling a set of heads, but i just want to make sure that they are actualy LT4 heads. the casting # is 10207643. they are off a Camaro so it would hve to be a 1997 SS to be LT4s. i did some research on them, but the only thing i could find was a VIN P. im hoping that s a code for 1997 SS. :seeya:chevy:seeya

I know my factory LT4 heads had LT4 stamped into the passenger side head between 2&4. This is the area just under the oil cap on a factory LT4.

However, a friend had a set of machined non-corvette LT4 heads that did not appear to have this feature.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
