I am still having an issue with my interior lights staying on. This problem has been with me for 3 months now.
It looks like my "interior lights delay timer" is not working. The bad part is that this item is discontinued from GM. No dealers or vendors have one.
I have already replaced the rear hatch switch, that didn't help.
Everything is point to the "interior lights delay timer".
I want to bypass this somehow, anyone how to do this ?
Had to replace mine 3 months ago (due to dealer error) and it was an in stock order item at a local Tampa dealership (for an 87). The Last Detail may have some?
EDIT: the picture I originally posted was for the Starter relay.. PN 14093107
I have another one that is 14078902.
This is all I have, by looking at the diagram in my 89 manual it shows the timer tied to the harness and not mounted. If this is the case I no longer have the part you are looking for
I'll post a pic later. But here is a description:
Mine is a yellow plastic looking piece about 2"x3".
It has a 5 ping connector going into it.
It has male ends on it, the wiring harness has female connectors.
2 of the wires are yellow.
