All, my 1990 just failed (brake booster filling up with brake fluid), I'm going to order MC from rock auto. My question: how do I clean out the brake booster of brake fluid. I figure to start is buy small pump from Harbor Freight, then I'm not sure and looking for advise.
The post on this issue were helpful in the diagnosis BTW.

This will work. A pump and a couple of clean rags and you will have successfully cleaned out your reservoir.
"But wait; there's more!"
Don't for get to bleed out your brakes using new fluid. You you will get your old icky stuff out of the reservoir, but the same, old stuff will still be in your lines. Clean first, use new fluid and pump the good stuff through the whole system.

Pull the booster and drain out the fluid.
Might try rinsing with alcohol, it may dry out the diaphragm.
Or just replace the booster. Why take the chance.
