getting frustrated
92 lt1 . Was hard to start for first time when sitting a couple of days. Knew I had some type of fuel pressure problem ?Test gauge dropped 40 to zero in seconds when car shut off. No evidence what so ever a bad fuel regulator. Ran line from suppy to bucket right from fuel pump, nothing. Changed fuel pump, runs two seconds , pushes fuel , shuts off. pulled fuel relay out , then changed oil sending unit , now pumps constant, like full pressure thru the rails and returning to tank , with no key in ignition and no fuel pump relay. Have constant 12 volts at sending unit ? Sending unit is a normally open switch , closes with 4 psi oil pressure . Car keep stalling before, now no start ? oil dash gauge use to bounce now and then ? And dash gauge pegs with sending unit installed ? I don't know if I lost oil pressure , but no lights, car ran good , or the someone gave me the wrong oil switch at the parts store ?
