Now that is a First for me. as suggested by one of the earlier posts I would get ahold of a Reverse Direction Drill Set properly centered while drilling for the Extractor it just might catch and back out for you.

I almost wonder with the Head gone is there enough slop around the bolt for the bolt to pass if you smoothed the edges with a Point File or something.

If that is the way it is broken couldn't you find the 1/4" socket that fit's over the Bolt then go down a size with a little force or cocking it might grab, it might call for opening the hole in the Molding just a Hair but who will Know

Looking at the picture I would start with a pair of needle nosed vise grips and see if I could get it loose.

Glad to hear it's done now. For anyone else, or if you ever break a bit (or a drill bit) in a hole again, you can use a small center punch to keep breaking it apart and a pick to remove the pieces.

I was also going to suggest if the star-points aren't too worn out on the bolt head, instead of trying to jam the next size larger Torx bit in to use one of the old impact drivers---the kind that is like a big steel screwdriver that when you smack the head of it, it turns the bit to help break the screw loose. (I've even used this method on stuck screws in missiles )

That or... epoxy a tip in and give it time to set before trying again to loosen the bolt...
