okay I took off the Exhaust System and was looking at the at the trany (6speed 95)and noticed some grease ( I think) on the yoke that connects the tranny to the driveshaft is is that normal or something I should look more into

if it's grease, its probably the u-joint dying. If its oil, that means the rear seal on the tranny is leaking and tranny fluid is leasking out. That happened to mine around 70,000 miles. Sound like your u-joints need to be replaced. Those things last around 90,000 miles.
