93 LT1 EGR code
Keeps coming up. A year ago, I replaced the EGR with an AC Delco part. Two months ago, I got the code again. Did more diagnosing.
What I did to diagnose.
1. Run the car at operating temp, pushed on the EGR valve and it stalled. So that to me, tells me the EGR is working fine.
2. Took off the EGR valve, and didn't see heavy carbon build up in the EGR or intake manifold.
3. Made me think the solenoid was the cause.
But I just got the code this morning on the highway. Any ideas?

Car stalls when you push on the EGR with your finger. Wouldn't that mean the valve and passages are good?
No bad wiring, and I do get power from terminal A on the EGR solenoid connector. All vacuum lines good. Did the solenoid go bad on me?
Last time I got the code was like 400 miles ago. I highly doubt a serious amount of carbon build up would have happened in that amount time.

Anyone? I'm all ears.
yes I have the FSM. In my opinion, it over complicates the EGR diagnostic.
