Water Pump Info
Was going to change my Lwr. Radiator hose....what a surprise...the fitting on the water pump to install the radiator hose on is all white...eaten up with corrosion....should I replace the water pump...although its been working fine...or what...never seen this much aluminum corrosion before...
How hard...and what do you have to do a water pump change???? This is an 1984 vette.....
can you guys help????

Thanks again for the help......but the manual for 1984 gives a buch of things to do.....???????
Must be an easier way....I'm not lazy...but.....I keep working on this vette...had since 1989....now getting into at my old age.......everytime I get one thing fixed....$$$$$$$$spent I find something else to do.....oh well I guess it is fun...
Hey JonM...THANKS FOR THE info on replacing my side moldings....only thing to finish is the moldings behind the rear wheels.....

I'm ordering a flowkooler water pump and thermostat..160...using a Mr. Gasket now......but they say robertshaw is better.....
