Well more information would be helpful, But going by your handle "6spd rag" I would guess a 3:45 as that is what came with a 6 speed. But than you state Auto so only two ratios came with them. 2:73 or 3:07.....
Than again you could look the codes on the SPIF tag in the storage compartment.
Have you found the Service Parts Identification sticker? It would be either on the underside of the console cover or the underside of the passenger side storage compartment lid.
Gear ratios will be different based on coupe or convertible. Look for any of these codes that identify the gear ratios:
Coupes with the automatic trans would usually get the 3.07, while convertibles would get a 2.59 ratio but the G92 "performance" ratio in the 'verts would be 2.73.
Manual trans cars got a GM3 3.45 ratio.

agreed that the auto coupes with the GM1 designation were 2.59 ratio. I am having mine changed to a 3.54 this week, Ill let you know how it changes the performance
Convertibles with auto trans got 2.73D36, and Perf Axle Ratio of 3.07D36
I believe this is incorrect
FOR '91!!
I believe the 'verts are quoted correctly in post#4
2.59 base with a 2.73 being the G92 option.
I'd think that someone with a '91 'vert and G92 could post a snapshot of a SPID for confirmation. I've seen the MVMA mention this combination and also I believe sales brochures.

This is exactly what I did to mine. You will notice a night & day difference. It woke up the vette.
got the car back today with the 3.54 ratio and I am very pleased with the noticeable performance increase at all speeds. speedometer is right on with the GPS too. I recommend this ratio to anyone who wants to wake up their LT1 and add some extra zip to an already good car
I have a 92 Vette and just found the sticker that shows it has a 3.07 gear ratio. I had assumed that it had the base 2.59 and figured that I'd upgrade at some point but I'm curious if most people with experience think that there's a big enough difference going to 3.45 or even more extreme if I'm already upgraded to 3.07.

I went from 2.59 to 3.73 in my '93 auto. DRAMATIC improvement in acceleration from a stop, and the car is much more lively at any speed, the engine RPM is always closer to making good power. So much more response at any speed. On the highway it's not too bad either, it's still not like older cars with 4.10s or whatever and no overdrive.
The gears are the only mod on my car and were worth it.
