Default 1996 Power Steering issue

I've owned my 96 LT-4 car for about 6 months now. Since I've had it, whenever it is fully warmed up the power steering was stiff at low RPM. It was fine while driving, or when first starting the car in the morning.

This weekend I was at an autocross and lost essentially all power steering suddenly. I checked the fluid level and it's fine, no leaks. The belt is in place and doesn't appear to be slipping.

Does this sound like a pump failure? Or possibly a failure within the rack?

Thanks in advance.

Did it come back? Make any strange noise? The pump can be tested with a in line pressure gauge.

Did not come back. Steering is still VERY stiff.

I did not notice any strange sounds.

I'll look into testing it when I get home. I'm out of town for the rest of this week.

Replaced the power steering pump today and she's good as new.
