Exide Battery ?
Hi all, I just went through two brand new Exide batteries in three months, after sitting for a few weeks they would be dead, I took the first one out to have it load tested and it failed they said it had a bad cell so they gave me a new one to replace it with, I went to sea for two weeks came back and that one was dead, I got it somewhat recharged enough to drive over to kragen and they hooked up their meter to the car to test the alternator, battey and starter under different load conditions and he said the amps were very low in the battery but everthing else looked fine, so I drove it home took it out of the car and took that one back over to be load tested and same thing, came up bad. So now I'm on my third Exide. Has anyone ever seen this before ?? I thought about going and getting an Optima red cell, seen one at COSTCO for $104.00 I just don't get it, I've never had to batteries in a row crap out like this , any suggestions as to why ??

Johnsoncontrol and Delco Penn Deka Batteries are good. Everything else are not as reliable. Exide...... definitely NOT
Autozone batteries are made by Johnsoncontrol. so are Wal-mart batteries.
other included Interstate, Sears(GOLD).
Atlas(exxon/shell) batters are Penn Deka
