Do you feel the accelerator pedal push back on your foot when the light goes on? If it is the only light that goes on (ie., the BRAKE and Service ASR lights don't go on), then it sounds like a normal condition. The sensors have detected wheel slippage and the ECM has begun taking steps to arrest it. The first step is timing retard to reduce power (don't really feel that), then the accelerator is pushed back, that one you feel.

This is what happens if he has the A ASR active light come on. He stated his ABS active light comes on.
When my shocks were bad, I noticed the lights (either of them) would be more active than normal. Just something else to check into. :yesnod:

:bb Oops, I totally mis-read that one! Ok then, if you are getting the ABS light with no other, (and not braking at the time), either a sensor is on its way out or possibly an intermitent connection.
