I am not sure what engine you have, but I looked at a couple FSM manuals. (I suspect you have an '86)
In my '85 manual there is a picture (6A1-33) that shows the windage tray (FSM calls it baffle) with the nuts shown. It states 15-22 N.m (20-30 FT. LBS). It is not listed in the torque specs. ( I do not have a digital copy of the '85 to post a section of that page.)
I could not find it in my '87 manual. A similar picture to the '85 manual but no torque shown on the drawing. It is not listed in the torque specs.
In my '96 manual it is shown below. In the torque specs it calls it a deflector nut and lists 30 lb ft
Good luck.

Good idea. I have done that many times too.
But in this case I thought communicating the value was more important than the picture. (It wasn't worth the effort especially since it is probably the wrong year FSM)

My C4 is a 86 an idk if it has one but I am putting one in my 77 c3 atm and plan to use the gm tray bolts on two other engines, I just knew a friends 84 had one so figured someone on here should know.
