Another question, did you get the right relays? The C4s switched part numbers and relays many times for these things. 85 is totally different from 86 which is totally different from 87. I don't know about the other years.
No it doesn't does it. :D I had a rogue code 36 pop up when I was playing with my MAF two days ago. I couldn't even get the damn thing to clear with a Snap-On MT2500 scanner. I would clear it and it would come back instantly. Unplugged the battery, all gone now and hasn't been back. :)
I kept getting Code 36 and replaced both relays. I disconnected the battery for a few minutes and it still came on. After troubleshooting the connections and wiring harness I finally fixed it by unplugging the computer and plugging it back in. The service manual said that if all else fails to try unplugging and reconnecting the plugs to the computer and this did the trick. Last resort was to replace the ECM.

I only ran it for a few mins last night, but prior to battery disconnection, it would come on after about 5 seconds. I'll keep this in mind incase it comes back. Thx. :)
