Hi folks, i noticed one of my convertible top linkage arms has come undone behind the passender seat. I can guide it back into position but theres no way to get behind the bracket to thread a nut onto the stud. Just wondering if any one
Has experienced this issue and what the fix was. Unbolting the frame from the car might be my only option. Is it a big deal ?

If you want to remove the entire Top is not a real big deal it just requires a socket set Yourself and another able to lift some weight shoulders high to clear car and hatch.
you just need to remove the 15 mm that hold it to the "B" pillar (pre-mark bolts before removal to aid in re-installation) you will need to flex the frame inward a bit to clear the bolts and it comes right out.
Thanks s carter i'm gonna assume that once I unbolt the problem side and loosen the nuts on the opposite side i'll b able to wiggle it free and maybe lift it enough to get my hand in the back to thread the nut on without actually removing it from the car. The sad part is I fashioned a tool and reached the torx bolt but it wouldn't budge. I had a 1/2 wrench with the nut taped on and would've been able to get it back together, after i'm sure would've been a hundred attempts before finally smiling
