I bought a used factory trailer hitch for my 84 to pull a small motorcycle trailer but am stumped on how it mounts. Has any body seen an article on this or know where I could get this information?
There are 3 more pics, but I cant even tell what they really are anymore :p: (change the 1 at the end to 2, 3, or 4 for the other pictures.)
Let me know if this helps, I can look and take better pictures if needed. I remember drilling holes for those two bolts (2 on other side also). I set it so that the lip was even on the back bumper and it wouldnt look TOO odd.
I'll check back on this post, email me or reply back if you need further help/pics

I had the Reese hitch on my 87 for 5 years to occasionally tow a jet ski trailer. I had a shop drill the holes into the aluminum rear subframe & do the wiring. Cool thing is that you dont have to modify the body work. It mounts underneath the bumper. Some people got mad at me for installing a tow hitch on a corvette........some goofball even yelled at me one day at a stop lite "vettes arent for towing!"..........what a jerk..........i couldnt afford a vette & a truck to tow my jet ski, so i had to compromise. :(
