wheels/tires Question
my 92 has standard 17x9.5 wheels on it. Question is switching to size the ZR1 came with- 17x11 rears and 315 tires. Will I be able to use these without any modifications on my coupe? ride height is higher than stock already Want a wider tire than current stock. Any ideas?

I use 17x11 wheels with 315 tires both front and back on my 96, which should have the same fitment as your 92. The key is getting the correct offset. My wheels have 50mm offset, and they fit perfectly at all four corners. The rear wheels on a ZR had 36mm offset, and these will poke out of the fenders a bit on the rear, which may or may not be a problem for you. But they may have a bit of rubbing up front when you turn the steering wheel, so you won't want to use these for fronts. The OE rear wheels on the 96 Grand Sport cars had the 50mm offset you want.
ETA: the wheels in my avatar pic are 11.5, with the extra half inch all to the outside, so they poke out a tad more than my 11s, but not as much as 17x11s with only 36mm offset would.
