antenna broke? :(
I think my antenna kick the bucket... I installed a new headunit and it was working fine for awhile and since yesterday when i turned my radio on nothing happens... I dont even hear the motor running or anything... its just dead...Is there a way to test it or fix it? or do i have to buy a whole new unit? if so from where? :cheers:

Check if you have juice in the leads comming to the antenna motor.
If the motor is dead I guess you will have to replace the whole unit,
think it is about 80$.

First listen for the relay to click inside the rear of the car. This will click when you turn on the radio. Its the antenna relay. If it isn't clicking, you have either a bad relay or more likely a blown fuse or bad connection on your radio to the antenna wire. If it does click, test the wires on the other side and check fuses also. If it is getting power, you probably need a new one.
