1989 VATS By Pass
Lately, my 89 has had some VATS issues. Periodically, it won't start. It has never failed to reset, but I have a security override system that came from mamotorworks that I want to install. I have identified the two white wires that come from the ignition (which are now soldered to the brown and yellow wires - done by previous owner) that go to the VATS system.
The mamotorwoks part # 601.116.004 (with ignition code 4) has red and black wires with a connector that is supposed to hook up to the Yellow and Brown wires going to the VATS system.
My question is, since I no longer have the factory connector, onto which wires (Brown and Yellow) do I attach the Red and Black wires?
