Booster?
Hello everybody,
I own a 1989 6 spd Z51 Bone stock Corvette. I am replacing the brake booster. I have had several occassions where the brake pedal is very hard at the top of the stroke. The car stopped but the pedal did not travel. I can hear a hissing sound when I press on the brake pedal and the idle sometimes changes. The point is I am doing the booster and check valve. Is there anything else that I should be looking at.

One more question. The pin that holds the cotter pin for the brake pedal. Does it rotate. Mine has rust on it. I am wondering if I spray some WD on it will it spin freely or is it countersunk into the pedal rod that holds it.
