Just got my glowshift tinted gauges today and looking for wiring diagrams or actual locations of where to grab..
12v constant (i'll just go off battery with a fuse probably
12v ignition ..
vehicle ground (where ever I find.. lol)
12v headlight.. (for night time dimming)
Any insight would be awesome tried doing some searching and I couldn't really find anything that popped out at me!

You should have a copy of the '96 FSM, which will give you this information. All of these connections are available at your thru-firewall connectors, that are just above the driver's left foot. You don't need to run any wires thru your firewall. There is a plastic cover that snaps off.
Of course, your manifold "boost" hose will need to go thru the firewall. There is a good ground connection on the left kick panel, under the carpet, or a screw into the aluminum structure above this connector.
There are actually two connectors here. That green/white wire shows a jumper that goes from the top connector to the bottom connector. That wire is useful to me, but not to you, since you have a '96.
Why is that wire useful? is it a power wire or BUS wire?

Of course I have the engine fsm but not the electrical one lol :P that is good to know tho I didn't not know about all that wiring and will look into just tapping into those there!

I have an '84, which I'm sure has different wiring circuits than the OP's '96, so my picture was intended to be generic, rather than specific to his question. I don't have wiring info on the '96. In my '84, I connected an LED to that wire, which tells me that my radiator fan is operating. That's nice to know when you're stuck in traffic!
My radiator fan never turns on when I'm cruising (unless my a/c is on), even though my fan control circuit isn't influenced by my ECM, like it is in later cars. There have been several different designs of radiator fan operating modes over the life of the C4!
So for anyones future use, I found this that has everything I believe I will need, for years 94-96 (I have not installed yet so I am not 100% sure it is correct but will update when I have)
