I'm replacing my leaky radiator tomorrow on my '95 Auto with 102K miles...the phoenix heat did her in this past summer and I’ve been nursing it for too long now...plus I hate the embarrassment of leaving a trail everywhere i go. Would appreciate any tips you wise people can give....I already read the replacement procedure elsewhere in the forum and have my manuals handy...have the following ready to go:
New radiator for '95 Auto from local Chevy dealer ($366...ouch)
2 Bottle of antifreeze
2 gallons of distilled water
Drain bucket
Lots of tools and shop towels
All weekend long to do the work and check for leaks
Thanks gang!!!

Dan, do some shopping next time. GMparts direct shows the GM list price as $366.35, wholesale $256.44, and thier price as $183.17. Even if they charge you $30~40 for shipping you'll be way ahead. I'd also give Jeff Kopp a call to see what kind of price he has.
