My idle used to be really bad. One day it would be 2000 in park, then lower the next day, then lower, then I have to keep my foot on the gas to kep it alive. Then it starts the cycle all over again. Trying to fix it, I have replaced the TPS, IAC, cleaned the TB, new fuel filter, and new fuel pressure regulator. Nothing helped.
Yesterday I replaced the O2 sensor. After driving it today, the O2 sensor did seem to help. When I start the car, it still wants to die, but after I accelerate to around 20 and then stop, it's fine from there on out. After it warms up it seems fine. All of this is with the AC off. With it on, it still wont idle anytime, but I rarely use it anyways.
All of the mods done to the car are gutted cat, elims, and Edelbrock heads. The car is an auto L98 with around 87K miles.
