I am looking for some guidance on an in car cam install for my CE.

Anyone have a copy of this link which is now dead

Please read-I am confident/comfortable with the actual cam set-up. My 'fear' resides with doing it in-car on a 1996 CE vert....like the particulars to clearances of the engine/chassis/body of a 1996 ...my first C4 vert. I've done cams on my GN and LS2s...so I need advice as to navigating my the way around a C4 chassis, cross member, oil pan, etc, and DOING LT1 CAM SWAP IN CAR... Off subject. I am aware of 'opti-spaK'...albeit spelling...issues .

Specifically when it comes to removing the front cover and balancer / hub...it don't look good due to the clearance issues with front cross member.

Please confirm this may be accomplished via release of motor mounts, and that you can jack engine up engine enough to clear and not run into binding issues at firewall. I have an automatic.

Have you, as an installer come across other bogeys / hurdles. I am in rural east Texas so I need to know in advance...parts availabilty is ALOT TOUGHER/DELAYED in DEEP EAST TEXAS. Nuts off crazy problematic.

So in a nutshell, anyone have that article or advice for home schooler...
