Custom L98 intake ?'s
I know that there are alot of you here that say the superram is the best, I'm not going to argue that. I am just wondering if it is worth the money to get an accel base, SLP runners, and p&p the plenum. How does this compare to the Superram setup (I know it will not be as good just looking for comparisons). The rest of the motor is stock with the cast iron heads, but not sure which way I am going to go right now with this car, could possibly change heads in near future.
Basically what I am wanting to know is does the SR outflow the other combo enough to justify the extra cost, which could be put towards something else like heads, ect.

I think its worth it. There is still an upper limit to the TPI setup that you dont have with the SR.

Its worth it. I did that exact same thing to mine (except Accel runners). I did all of the mods at the same time but it made a definate difference. The car even gets better mileage now. :yesnod:

I have ported/siamesed plenum/runners/intake and run pretty well without any major mods to the engine. Also at highway speeds the car just seems to run 'free-er' and easier than before.. Better mpg too..I get around 26-28mpg at 70+- MPH on a straigh surface at CruiseControl.
