Default Seat installation

Hello guys and greetings from Sweden!

I've recently bought a c4 -91 as a project during winter time.

The first thing I've done is to send the driver seat for re-covering (se pictures before and after)

The thing I realised was that the person who sold this car mentioned that the electric in the drivers seat was not responding correctly. I'm just guessing but I see the 3-pin Contact is not attached (was not when i removed the chair). Could there be any other problems concerning this? (se pictures)

Also, when I'm going to mount it back I'm curious if the metal part of the seat controller is broken? Or should it look like this? I remember only losing the two long screws on each controller when I removed the seat.

Any help regarding this would be lovely!

Best regards
Jimi

I don't see the 3-pin connector you referenced.
The switch doesn't seem to be fully assembled, as if the two screws on the end are not tightened sufficiently. Try tightening them.
The upholstery looks really good!

Parkerfowl. Looks like you are working on the lumbar function. First, does the air pump work when you push the switch? Second, if the pump works then you need to check all hoses, connections, and the bladder bag for air leaks. I have an 88 and the motor and above pieces were bad or cracked and would not hold air if the pump had worked. I’m not a fan of the adjustable lumbar so I did not install it on my new seat covers.
New seat cover looks great.
