I have a 94 convertible automatic and have a couple issues I would like to get corrected. My ASR/ABS lights are on, traction control is inactive (no response to switch) and my ABS does not seem to be working. I believe these issues came around after I pulled the rear end out to have 354 gears installed. Thought my issue was in the calibration while the speedometer was off but I have gotten the ECU re-flashed to correct and still both an issue.
Secondly, my heater is not blowing hot like it should blows warm at times but not hot. I have the electronic climate control system and was wondering if perhaps my controller is not working properly. I just recently flushed my coolant system including the heater core thinking I may have had some circulation blockage. Seems to be the same after the flush. Is there a heater valve or solenoid or something in the system that I check?
What about checking the DTC codes or fuses for either issue?
ABS ASR doesn't use speedometer at all so the gear change doesn't matter. Since you changed diff make speed sensors are plugged in. connector and sensor terminals aren't damaged. Check for codes.
HVAC do you have Factory service manual? The programmer is below the passenger side air bag so there isn't much visibility. I believe a 94 C68 does have obd, but not for sure.
.
As far as the HVAC. You can put the system in diagnostic mode and check the blend door position and movement. If you have an infrared thermometer, try and measure temp on the heater core hoses with the engine running at temp and HVAC off.
Your system circulates coolant all the time through the heater core. There is no water valve.
Pretty sure 94 was the first year with the door actuator on the bottom. So way easier to change than the earlier models.

I have had plenty of cars in the past that would have air in the system and until it’s purged out the heat never really worked like before but when I fixed it...thing almost burnt me.
Appreciate the insight, I did open the bleeder valve on the thermostat housing after flushing the coolant not sure it I got all the air out or not hated to let water run down near my opti-spark distributor, any other ways to bleed the air?
