'84 Corvette Electrical problem (please don't be scared)....
Ok here is the deal....
My brake lights stay on even when my car is off and key removed from the ignition. Both Turn Signals WORK. Hazards do not and Brake lights (since they are always on) do not either. I've had to pull the fuse for day driving and replace it when I drive in the night. Anyways, I was told it was my Hazard FLASHER that needed to be replaced so I purchased one and now I can't find where to replace it. Any help?

If you are replacing the hazard flasher ...it is behind the multiuse panel in the center just above the radio, behind the AC vents...
Turn signal flasher is on the pass side, under the hush pad...remove hush pad...slide on your back and look up...polk it out of the clip with a long screwdriver.

I would have to assume it is the brake pedal switch also. The brake lights work even with the key out if you press the pedal. I think that switch is stuck so that the brake lights are always on... :chevy
It does sound like pedal switch. But it might not be broke. They adjust yours just might need adjustment. Flashers stop when brake is depressed but tun signals work while pedal is depressed. So this makes sense. Easy fix. PS dont confuse cruise switch with brakelight switch. :smash:
