Default 700r4 need help
Can i put the tail from tranny on any 700r4? Or does it has to be for a corvette

Well if you want your 3-4 WOT shift you need a 700R4 from a corvette. All the others in other cars like the f-bodies did not have the same valve body or whatever they call it.. AFAIK they are the same size though outside.

The Vette tail housing and output shaft is smaller than the other 700R4's.

Tailstocks will interchange but mounts are different. You can put an F-Body 700-R4 in a Vette if you use a Vette tailstock.
