Default Performance Automatic Shifter question

I have a question for everyone concerning automatic shifters in your C4. I have a 1985 C4 Corvette and I am looking for a race style automatic shifter. I have used the B&M MegaShifter a few times in the past. Does anyone have any experience with an aftermarket Automatic Shifter in their C4 and if so which one. Any recommendations? I have heard that I have to use the ProShifter, but I thought I would check with all of you first. At this time I have a 700R4 if that makes a difference to anyone.

If you can include pics with your comments that would be awesome. If you are like me and cannot figure out how to post pics here. You can email me at Lonewolfmusic@sbcglobal.net . Thank you all for the help.

This is my '85, I used the Firebird/Camaro B&M Megashifter. It took some minor fabrication to mount it to the floor but I am really happy with it. There are two drawbacks, the shifter has a shorter stick than the regular Megashifter so it takes a bit more effort to push/pull it from gear to gear. Second, the handle sits high, some don't like that, I do. You will need to open up the console cover for clearance
