Anyone's idle do this ?...
My vette has idled at 600 rpm's forever..all of a sudden it wants to idle at 900-1000...our first cool front came through last night..tell me I just need some WD-40...when i goose the throttle it will drop back down...WTH...thanks

Is it surging, mine did that and it was a bad plug wire. You might want to clean the IAC if you havent recently.

First you might clean the throttle body real good ....... but be prepared to find out that the throttle shaft is riding in a worn hole. Someone makes a bushing kit to repair this ..... (I need one too ) but it may be time for that larger throttle body ........ :lol: Just kidding ....... I put an extra spring on mine for now and it seems ok but THAT could be why the original gas pedal broke (it's plastic) .......... :seeya

Vettemech..I already have a BBK 52mm TB...had my TB cleaned about 6 months ago...
